How MSNR reads a chart

MSNR (Malaysian Support and Resistance) draws its levels from candle bodies, at the point where one candle closes and the next one opens. Wicks are ignored when you draw.

Bodies, not wicks

A wick shows a price that was visited and then rejected. A body shows where the candle actually finished, which is where buyers and sellers agreed. MSNR levels connect those agreements, so they repeat more cleanly than wick-to-wick lines.

The line-chart trick

On TradingView, switch the chart type to Line. A line chart only plots closing prices, so the wicks disappear. Every peak looks like the letter A and every valley like a V. Mark the levels there, then switch back to candles.

resistance at the closesupport at the closewick: a rejected test, not the level
Candles: the long upper wick on the fourth candle reaches higher than the level, but MSNR draws the level at the close. Switch to Line to see why.

What this course builds up to

A level is only one ingredient. A strong zone is a higher-timeframe level that lines up with a lower-timeframe level, near liquidity that has just been taken, at the right time of day. Each lesson adds one of those pieces, and the last lessons put them together into an entry model.

How to study: read a lesson, look at the diagram, answer the quiz, then find three real examples on XAUUSD or EURUSD with Bar Replay before moving on. Click Mark complete when you can spot the idea on a live chart.
