The MSNR entry model
Everything comes together here: a higher-timeframe point of interest (POI), liquidity taken into it, the right time, then a lower-timeframe confirmation and a sniper entry with a short stop.
Step by step
- D1 / H4: decide the direction and mark the key zones. Where is the liquidity?
- H1: mark the POI, an HTF OCL that lines up with an LTF SNR (a strong zone).
- Wait for price to reach the POI, ideally sweeping liquidity, in the right session or quarter.
- M1–M5: wait for confirmation at the POI: a structure shift, an IDM sweep, a lower-timeframe OCL or a trendline key.
- Enter at the refined level: the lower-timeframe OCL or SNR, or the 50% of the zone.
- Stop just beyond the sweep wick. Target the next liquidity pool.
Confluence checklist from the Alchemist setups
The Alchemist examples tag every H1 POI with what lined up: LIQUIDITY TS (time session) TL (trendline) QT (quarterly theory). Then the M1–M5 entry uses a shift, IDM, a key OCL or SBR, or the 90-minute QT cycle.
Common mistakes
- Entering on the first touch of the zone without confirmation: this is where most stop-outs come from.
- Moving the stop wider after entry.
- Taking the trade against the daily bias because the lower timeframe 'looks good'.
